It was a wonderful Thursday at Rotary with 27 members attending in person 6 on Zoom.  Doug May served as greeter and Fred Lowy lead the pledge
Guests:            Linda Drake
                        Ron Cooper
Carole Soule Reed (who has been approved for membership.)
Joe Guyton was the winner; recognizing the most members from their submitted school photos, Joe got 7 out of 10. He had an unfair advantage, given the photo everyone couldn’t identify was him.
Happy Dollars were shared by Leslie Hawkins, Monica Oszust, Wendy Guyton, John Howard and Liese Razzeto.
Doug May presented his bio.
  1. The IMPACT hygiene box WAS EMPTY!  Same for last week….LET’S FIX THAT next week.
  2. District Conference registration is open. It’s $25 for registration and more for meals. If you go to the meals, there are excellent keynote speakers. It is so worth it. We have a booth (Doug) and have been asked to do a breakout session presentation on Corazon (Dan).
  3. Monster Bash tickets are on sale.
  4. Tucson Rotary Car Show tickets still available. We keep 50% of all ticket money. Ask John Oszust for tickets to sell. He has extra books.
  5. Get your bike (or checkbook) out, and start training for the Ride to End Polio at El Tour d’ Tucson.  We will have a team ride both at The Ranch and at SaddleBrooke.  Contact Tom Turriff for more information
  6. Sigh up sheets for volunteer opportunities in October were passed around.  There are still spots to fill.  Watch the website or contact John Howard or Charlie Clark for volunteer opportunities.
We were honored to have Amanda Watley:  Arizona at Work Youth Program present an excellent program on the organizations efforts helping youth in the area.
