William "Dr. Bill" Pohnert, age 81, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022. He was born on December 23, 1940 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Madaline (nee Rebbe) and Harvey H. Pohnert. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee James); children, Tami Pohnert, Steven (Annie)  Pohnert , and Todd Pohnert; sister, Ann (Cletus) Denoyer ; and several nieces and nephews.

Dr. Bill was a retired Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon.  He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, with internship at Western Michigan University and residency at Fort Wayne Medical.
