History of the Salvation Army

Timothy Schaal will present a brief overview of the history of The Salvation Army and how that has laid the foundation for them to fulfill their mission “To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination”.

Tim is the son of Salvation Army officers (ministers). After Hight School he began his almost 44 year career with the Salvation Army in Seattle, Washington… moved to Southern California pioneering the organization’s use of technology. He served the last 7 and a half years as Director of Technology for the USA Western Territory. Tim retired earlier this year and now lives at SaddleBrooke Ranch with his wife Carol Kennedy.
